If you have a hot-melt adhesive strip, but no hot-melt gun, the adhesive strip will lose its effect, because the main function of the hot-melt gun is to use heat to melt the hot-melt adhesive strip and turn it into a liquid to achieve the effect of adhesion.
It is recommended that you go and buy a new hot melt gun.
